August Greer

Owner & Lead Instructor

August has been immersed in the world of dance for 28 years, beginning her training at just three years old under the instruction of Tammy Fuller. She grew up studying acrobatics and multiple dance genres, later expanding her experience through competitive dance and cheer. After graduating from Maryville College—where she served as captain of the MC Dance Ensemble—August returned to Lebanon to build a career dedicated to supporting young people both in and out of the studio.

With 15 years of coaching experience, August has led competitive teams, overseen choreography, costuming, and performance preparation, and served as head instructor of the competition program. As a guidance counselor with Lebanon Special Schools, she brings a unique understanding of child development, mental health, and positive motivation into every class she leads.

Now, as the owner of Cedar City Dance, August is excited to create a studio environment where dancers feel safe, supported, and inspired. Her mission is to build a space where students can grow in confidence, develop strong technique, and experience the joy of dance—whether they’re stepping into the studio for the first time or preparing for the competition stage.

Andrea Moore

Instructor

Andrea Moore is a Nashville-area dance educator, choreographer, and performer whose passion for dance has been at the heart of her life since she was four years old. Originally from Lebanon, Tennessee, Andrea began training in a wide variety of dance styles and quickly fell in love with both performing and sharing her love of dance with others. Throughout her childhood, she appeared in numerous plays, musicals, and ballet productions across the Nashville area, building the foundation for a lifelong career in the performing arts.

Andrea continued her dance education at Western Kentucky University, where she was a member of the nationally ranked WKU Dance Team and served as a student choreographer. After college, she returned to Middle Tennessee to pursue her professional career and later had the honor of returning to WKU as a guest choreographer and coach, mentoring the next generation of dancers.

Today, Andrea is a nationally recognized teacher, choreographer, and adjudicator who has had the privilege of working with dancers from studios, middle schools, high schools, and collegiate programs across the country. She believes that every dancer deserves to feel seen, challenged, and inspired, and she is passionate about creating an encouraging environment where dancers can build confidence, develop strong technique, and discover their own unique artistry.

Andrea's choreography has earned numerous overall awards, special judges' awards, and choreography honors at regional and national competitions. As a professional performer, her credits include appearances and performances with MTV, Dr. Phil, The Grand Ole Opry, The CMA Awards, CMA Country Christmas, Pitbull, Blake Shelton, Morgan Wallen, Mr. Probz, Galantis, and Dolly Parton.

Whether she is teaching in the studio, choreographing for the stage, or judging at competitions across the country, Andrea is committed to helping dancers grow not only as performers but also as confident, hardworking individuals. She considers it a true privilege to be part of each dancer's journey and hopes to inspire a lifelong love of dance in everyone she teaches.

Amber Danneman

Instructor

Amber grew up in Cookeville, Tennessee where she started dancing at age ten. She attended Brigham Young University majoring in Dance Education. During college, she performed with the companies: Kinnect and Dance Ensemble. After graduation, she taught dance in the public schools ranging from kindergarten to ninth grade for six years. During that time she taught the basic elements of dance, ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, world, ballroom, choreography, and yoga. Amber also directed the school’s dance company, taught special needs dance classes, and choreographed some of the schools’ theater productions. In 2018, she got the chance to perform in the Christmas special with the Tabernacle Choir on Temple Square with Kristen Chenoweth. Amber is excited to be back in Tennessee and teaching dance again!
